oils

Have you ever been interested in using essential oils in your family AND on your pets? This is definitely an amazing place to get the information to start! From scrapes and skin issues, to illnesses or infections, behavioral issues, and just to calm and relax and better their lives. This is for ALL pets. Dogs, cats, reptiles, hampsters, horses, the works! I have used these oils to help dogs I work with, and my personal dogs and cats and you will see why The Loyal Canine only Recommends Young Living Essential oils! Hosting it is Nance Ciasca, who has amazing experience with Young Living Essential Oils, and also has created The Happy Oilers Group. I will also be there to share how this can benefit you and the dogs in your life.

AshLee spent the day teaching the adoption centers staff and volunteers how to effectively handle the dogs there, as well as make the environment less stressful and more of an environment for learning. Hands on work on how to properly evaluate and temperament test dogs, as well as dog to dog introductions. We also did hands on leash work and worked on recognizing dog body language and energy, as well as the handlers! Since this rescue works with many foster dogs ultimately we want the people who handle them, to use the training and tools, the exact same way as the foster parents working with these dogs. That way they aren’t back tracking while being shown for adoption. It is also highly noticeable the difference in the shelter dogs who have minimal to no original training.

How to be a Successful Foster Parent

This is so important because they are the first step in these dogs lives. It  takes special people to be able to take in an animal they have no intention of keeping forever. My goal was to help them get these dogs on the right foot with training so that they would STAY in their new forever homes. Every day we see dogs returned to the shelter because of minor behavioral issues that are easy to address. Teaching the fosters how to recognize these issues and address them from the beginning, makes dogs more adoptable. We worked very hard in getting both groups on the same page so the dogs were working the exact same way in each environment!
